This model represents the evolution of the timeless R107 which remained on the market for 18 years without ever losing its charm and preserving the usual Mercedes reliability. In 1989 the W129 model was presented at the Geneva Motor Show with a very contemporary design created by the hands of Bruno Sacco.
In 1995 a 3.2 lt. Engine was adopted with 5 speed automatic gear and a power of 231 CV, equal to that of the previous Mercedes 500 SE: i.e. a higher performing engine that perfectly suited this car with a very sporty character. It had a retractable electric top, and safety was not neglected as it adopted an automatic rollbar to protect passengers in the event of a crash. Externally this example looks like a SL 320 AMG i.e. with original AMG alloy wheels.
