At the end of the Sixties, the first ironic and parodic footage of Picasso's works took shape in the production of Baj; at the same time they date the first works for which he used plastic materials, already used in the past and from that moment used, for example, in Ties, a symbol of Western culture, exhibited at the 15th Lissone prize (1967) and at the Studio Marconi of Milan (1969). Between a "continuity of ideological background [... and] what we could call a continuity of confirmation", since the early seventies Baj came to new goals and "great imaginative spikes", which led him above all to the installation and "environmental dissemination" .
