THE MOST ELEGANT EARLY ’70s 2+2 GT
Maserati is one of the most important names of Automotive History. The four brothers of Bologna have been among the movers of the sport and racing Italian automobile scene from the early ’20s to the 1960s.
Their eponymous Factory, bought by Omer Orsi in 1937 and later incorporated into the FCA Group, is still very active in the luxury and sport segments.
In the 1960s, Maserati was the most luxurious Italian sportscar, and the sportiest luxury car.
The Indy was built from 1969 to 1975 in 1100 units, with 4.2, 4.7 and finally 4.9 V8s with four overhead camshafts.
The car on sale today is a 4.9: the most powerful version with a very elegant livery: an irresistable cocktail.
It is in as new condition, after having been painstakingly refurbished and prepared by its vendor.
The vehicle is in excellent mechanical condition but for safety reasons, we advise the purchaser to have it checked over and to replace the fluids, filters and perishable elements.
