The catalogue dedicated to majolica returns in October, with a novelty compared to recent years, clear from the title: Important majolica from the Renaissance to the 18th century. In fact, on this occasion the auction will include a broader time span, starting as usual with specimens from the end of the 15th century to the end of the 18th century, a choice motivated above all by the importance of the 18th century specimens from a prestigious Milanese collection.

The catalogue will open with selected works made in Faenza, Urbino, Venice, Rimini, etc. in the Renaissance, passing through the 17th century with Siena, Castelli, Liguria and Sicily, to arrive at 18th century Lombard majolica, which flourished with various manufactures in the cities of Milan, Lodi and Pavia. These are all works that collectors will be able to admire in the rooms of Palazzo Ramirez Montalvo in Florence during the exhibition that will be held from 21 to 25 October 2023.
