The Department of Furniture and Art Objects is pleased to offer an interesting selection of carpets from the 19th century in the timed auction on 19-26 September 2023.

Some of them come from an important private collection and include a Serapi from 1870, several 19th and 20th century Karabaghs and two Mashad runners.

We will also offer, as always, a selection of the best known types, such as Tabriz, Heriz, Malayer. There will also be Western carpets from private collections, including a Ziegler carpet, the well-known Anglo-Swiss Persian carpet export company that established itself in Persia with the aim of becoming a trait d'union with the taste of the Western market.
