è
by Andrea Paoli
Repetition is overwriting.
When a statement is repeated exactly in its form, it can lead to a tangle of different references (represented by colors) that make the message less clear with each repetition. Assuming, on the other hand, that the reference is, by the nature of the sentence, unique, repetition would enrich the common scope of meaning with a potential broadening of references.
The only effortlessly readable element in the piece is "è" ("is" in English). This choice is due to the fact that the verb serves as a link between the word and its specific reference.
