biography
Chiara Sabbadini Sodi studied at the University of Florence. After graduating in 2004 in Art History with a thesis on the Jewels of the Carrand Collection of the Bargello and a publication on Giovanni Raspini's Collection of Sacred Goldsmiths, she started her activity at the Pandolfini Auction House. Since 2013 she has been working for the Silver Department as Junior Expert and with this position she continues the acquisition and selection of silver for sales.
It is a fascinating job, full of surprises and curiosity, which each time leads her to interesting discoveries.
The work she does also includes advising those who, as collectors or simply as curious people, approach the silverware market, whether vintage or more contemporary.
