Francesco Tanzi is the head of the Fine Wines and Collector's Wines department and of the Whisky and Distilled Spirits department.
He has expanded the department's activities by organising international tastings of Champagne such as Krug, Dom Perignon, Salon and Perrier-Joüet; as well as the most important Italian wines such as Ornellaia, Solaia, Sassicaia and Masseto. The department took part in the Expo in Milan, and has developed its business by weaving contacts with a now international clientele .
A.I.S. certified oenologist and sommelier, through his passion for wine, he has managed to create two strong and dynamic departments.
He is an auctioneer and has sold more than 20,000 bottles and spirits, including the Italian record for the 1966 Samoroli Bouquet bottle of Bowmore Whisky at €49,000. Thanks to his interest and dedication to the search for rare labels, he has expanded and consolidated the importance of the department on the Italian territory by weaving collaborations with entities and structures for charity auctions and wine tasting
