Nicolò Pitto from Genoa, trained between the University of Genoa and the University of Florence dealing with Italian painting between the 13th and 15th centuries. He later deepened his training and studies at the prestigious Fondazione di Studi di Storia dell’Arte Roberto Longhi in Florence.
From 2020, he started collaborating with several Italian and international galleries specializing in Old Masters. From 2021 to 2024, he was assistant-gallerist at an important antique art gallery in Via Maggio in Florence, with which he took in two Biennali dell’Antiquariato at Palazzo Corsini in Florence.
He participates in important Italian and international conferences and exhibitions dedicated to Italian medieval painting. In addition, he publishes studies on Italian painting – particularly of central and northern Italy in the 14th, 15th and 16th centuries – in important journals and publications.
