The Department of Fine and Collector Wines returns to Milan, with an auction dedicated to a unique, very select collection.

The owner has carefully built up a remarkable cellar, with all the big names from Europe and beyond, and this ‘small’ nucleus is a selection of some of his favourite wines, many of them awarded the famous ‘100/100 Parker points’, the maximum score awarded by the famous critic Robert ‘The Wine Advocate’ Parker.

For Italy, we have the big names, such as Sassicaia, Monfortino, Masseto, Mascarello, Solaia, Vietti, and bottles in sizes ranging from regular to Melchior (18 litres).

The session dedicated to French wines was also remarkable, with the great Chateau and Domaine of Bordeaux and Burgundy above all, such as Mouton, Yquem, Rousseau and Romanée Conti. Of this last one, we have the pleasure of presenting a bottle from the vineyard of the same name from the 1999 vintage, one of the best produced.

The series of New World lots is also very interesting, with bottles that are rarely seen in European auctions, such as Sine Qua Non, Harlan Estate and the very rare Screaming Eagle.

We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday 19 February in the PandolfiniSpace in Via Manzoni 45 in Milan for the auction and remind you that the bottles will be kept in our cellar in Florence to preserve them at their best, and that they will be visible, by appointment, in the days preceding the sale. Our experts are at your disposal for detailed condition reports and for all information related to the sale.
